Tallyo shows online store owners their orders, shipping, ad spend and profit in one dashboard. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you control it.
What we collect
- Your account: name, store name, phone number, email and a hashed password.
- Connections you add: Shopify, your shipping company (for example Bosta) and ad accounts (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat). Keys and tokens are encrypted (AES-256) before they are stored.
- Store data we read through those connections: orders, products, inventory, shipments, payouts and ad spend — including the customer name, phone and city attached to an order, because the dashboard shows them to you.
- Payment receipts you upload when paying for a plan.
How we use it
- Only to build your dashboard and reports, keep them up to date, and run your account and billing.
- We never sell your data, never use it for advertising, and never share one store’s data with another.
- Read-only: Tallyo only reads from your connected accounts. It never changes your orders, products, shipments or ads.
AI assistant
- If you use “Tallyo AI”, your question and the dashboard figures needed to answer it are sent to an AI provider (Google Gemini or Anthropic) to produce the answer. They are not used to train their models under those providers’ API terms.
Where data is stored
- Database and files: Supabase. Website: Vercel. Both use encrypted connections; access is limited to Tallyo’s owner for support and billing.
Keeping and deleting
- Data is kept while your account is active. Disconnecting an account stops all reading from it.
- When you uninstall the Tallyo Shopify app, or Shopify asks us to remove a store’s data, we delete that store’s cached data within 48 hours.
- To delete your account and all its data, email us — it is done within 30 days.
Cookies
- Only what the site needs: staying signed in, language and light/dark choice. No tracking or advertising cookies.
Your rights
- You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion at any time.
